Outside – Garden Design & Installation

About Us

Founded in 2004 by Mike Munsterman, Outside continues to be a trusted landscape design resource among discerning Dallas homeowners and design professionals. Our team works as a collaborative of experts, each bringing their specialized experience to the table for our clients. At Outside, our commitment to quality flows through everything we do. Our team includes experts in the fields of horticulture, specialty construction and maintenance—all skilled at guiding residential landscape projects seamlessly from planning to execution. Whether discussing design considerations or budgets, we center our business around clear communication. This transparency allows us to adapt quickly when needed without losing sight of the final goal: a beautiful garden. Ultimately, we aim to create a pleasing balance between the wildness of nature and the order of design. Building from the soil up, we draw from over 30 years of experience to provide insights that consider each garden's personalized style and functionality. Our plans take into account maintenance needs beyond initial planting, resulting in gardens designed to be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
